Raging Bulls New Member Program
developed December 2018
Introduction
The purpose of this policy is to provide a constructive understanding of how members can introduce new members to the club, and how these prospective members can become new members.
Requirements and Responsibilities of a Raging Bull Member
A member of the Raging Bulls Investment club is committed to be an engaged participant in the club. Each member is required to perform the following duties and tasks to remain an engaged participant:
Provide an initial contribution: $3,500
Provide the regular, semi-annual contribution: $750 ($1,500 per year)
Present with a fellow member at least one stock for consideration by the club, once within every approximately 12-14 months.
Follow a stock and provide regular reports to the group as to whether or not it satisfies the criteria for buying or selling it.
Regular attendance at monthly meetings.
Participation at meetings.
Introduction of New Member Candidate
Any existing Raging Bulls member in good standing (the sponsoring member) can bring a guest to a meeting. If this guest is interested in becoming a member, the guest should be introduced to the club as a candidate for membership. The candidate should then provide an introduction explaining their interest and background.
Evaluation Period
The member candidate will then have an evaluation period lasting 3 meetings. During these meetings the candidate will participate like any other member - but without any voting rights. The sponsoring member may only have one candidate participating in an evaluation period at one time.
Evaluation Task
During one of the three meetings within the evaluation period, the candidate will partner with the sponsoring member to follow their stock and provide a short report about why we should hold or sell this stock.
Vote to Approve Membership
After attendance at 3 meetings, the sponsoring member will put forward the member candidate to the club for a vote (generally at the fourth meeting). The vote will be held according to the bylaws of the club.
