Group Email Guidelines - for writing to ragingbullsic@googlegroups.com
Please try to follow these guidelines when emailing the Group.
Choose to Reply to the Group or One Person. Google Groups works differently from other listservs. Hitting "Reply" sends your message back to the entire Group, not the person who wrote the previous message. If your response doesn't need to go to the whole Group, or if you don't want it to, adjust the To field accordingly.
Start a New Thread for a New Question/Topic. If there's a new question or topic, send it as a new email with a relevant Subject line, rather than a Reply in an existing thread that's on a different subject. It's tougher to find things later when searching through threads that contain unrelated topics.
Provide Context. The opinions and perspectives of our members are what matter most. When sharing an article, video, link, etc., give it a relevant Subject line and some introductory context and/or perspective. Just a few sentences or so. You're sharing something of interest or of use; tell us why and/or what you think about it.
Sign Off. Don’t forget to add your name.
Be Constructive. We bring a wide range of perspectives and styles. Differences of opinion are natural ... and a strength of the Club. Candor is encouraged; be constructive and courteous.
